The smartphone and gadget manufacturer from China, Xiaomi, released a new product teaser on its social network. Interestingly, the teaser image is not a smartphone or smartwatch silhouette, but a silhouette that is very similar to the appearance mobile SUV a box similar to Jimny’s or a Mercedes-Benz G-Class.

Xiaomi has been in contact with many local car manufacturers and has even invested in the well-known Chinese company Xiaopeng Motors. This manufacturer has even initiated the manufacture of the Xiaopeng P7 electric sedan, which is touted as a rival to the Tesla car.
For information, Xiaomi Corporation became the 4th largest smartphone manufacturer in the world in 2018. Besides making smartphones, Xiaomi also produces many other gadget tools such as tablets, smartwatches, power banks, earphones, joysticks, action cameras, connected home furnishings , electric scooters, routers, and smart TVs.
So far Xiaomi has not revealed plans to enter the car market. But it is not impossible for Xiaomi to make motorized vehicles through a collaboration scheme with Chinese car manufacturers.
Plunge into the automotive world is actually not something really new for Xiaomi. Last year they released Redmi Car. This is not a car actually made by Xiaomi actually, but another version of a Chinese SUV called the Bestune T77.
Xiaomi indeed collaborating with Bestune to bring this car. Redmi Car became Xiaomi’s first car. Xiaomi Redmi Car is a custom version of the Bestune T77.
