Spotify users can now search for songs by typing lyrics

Previous, Spotify criticized Apple’s move to release the Apple One service pack on September 15, 2020, United States time. This plan includes several Apple services with prices starting at USD 14.95 per month.

The Apple One, with prices starting at USD 14.95, consists of a subscription fee for Apple TV, Apple Arcade, 50GB of iCloud storage, and Apple Music. In addition, there are Apple One Family and Premier subscription packages at higher prices.

Spotify criticized Apple’s service less than an hour after the Apple event ended.

Apple is said to be re-exploiting its dominance and unfair practices to harm competitors by prioritizing its own services.

“We ask competition authorities to act immediately to limit Apple’s anti-competitive behavior, which, if left unchecked, will cause irreparable harm to the developer community and threaten our collective freedom to listen, learn, create and connect,” Spotify said via his official statement, as quoted from GSM Arena, Wednesday (16/9/2020).

Apple One subscription package is considered annoying Spotify. The reason is, Apple device owners may prefer this service to Spotify.

Users are expected to consider it simpler because with one payment they can access various Apple services at once.
