A technician at Sport and with passages through América and Cruzeiro, Enderson Moreira had to be restrained this Saturday (15) after a 2-1 victory over Retrô, for the first leg of the Pernambuco Championship final, at Arena Pernambuco, in Recife. The coach even called opponents to fight.
Enderson called a player “weak” several times in a row. “Come here, you come here. Come here, come. Weak”, he completed. The images of the transmission of the match caught the moment, right after the final whistle.
The skirmish occurred with striker Giva and goalkeeper Jean, both from Retrô. After the match, Enderson Moreira commented on the episode.
“I was there in my technical area, I didn’t enter the field. Their goalkeeper passed and made fun. You need to say things as long as you have respect. If you lost the game, as it happens, we take it and leave, man, go away”, he said, at a press conference.
“There’s a game ahead, nothing has been decided. We respect the Retrô team a lot. At least I think so, when you have a result that escapes, and there’s still a lot of game ahead, you need to concentrate on that. The goalkeeper was in a provocative tone that I think was unnecessary.”
America and Cruzeiro
Enderson Moreira had a spell at América as an interim player in 2009 and, between 2016 and 2018, effectively commanded Coelho. In this last period, there were 107 games and won the Série B of the Campeonato Mineiro.
As coach of Cruzeiro, Enderson made only 12 matches, all in 2020.
