Frankfurt / Main (dpa) – The German Olympic Sports Confederation is disappointed and concerned after the decision to continue the lockdown.
“The current resolution is another major setback for all of sport,” said DOSB President Alfons Hörmann, commenting on the results of the meeting between Chancellor Angela Merkel (CDU) and the Prime Ministers. After the first important opening steps, the entire club sport will now be condemned “again to immobility”: “That really hurts and will increase the damage that is already clearly visible in the entire sports system from week to week.”
