Debeaumarché taken back in extremis in Brittany

Just after, Nicolas Debeaumarché attacked with the Belgian Gilles Borra. He was taken back just 150 meters from the line to fail in 9th place. “It’s a meager reward compared to the very stressful and intense day. The team got down to the plank. There was a lot of emotion on arrival ”.

Tour du Beaujolais: “The general is folded”
This Saturday, the first stage of the Tour du Beaujolais (National Elite) took place. From the 15th kilometer, around twenty runners came out, including Gauthier Navarro. Then, Victor Bosoni and Joris Delbove came back with another big group. The peloton quickly abdicated. The leading group then split up depending on the difficulties. “First, Gauthier was released, then Victor and finally Joris who was trapped.
There was almost 40 kilometers left and there were 15 guys in front. It was so complicated, the gaps are huge. The general is folded ”, summarizes Mathieu Gallet, the sporting director of Sco Dijon.

Alexandre Verplaetse still placed
The Dijonnais Alexandre Verplaetse, licensed in Sarcelles, completed the 5 km of the French Open Water Championships in 6th place (7th in the scratch, but with a foreign swimmer in front). “After a good 10 terminals (9th), a good 5, it’s nice,” observes the Côte-d’Orien, entered on the 25 km this Sunday. As on the 10 km, the title went to Sacha Velly (16 years old, FC Laon).
