Julian Chabot has signed a contract with A leaguePhD candidate Spezia. The former Sparta Rotterdam– in Fc Groningenplayer makes the switch from Sampdoria to Northern Italy.
Spezia reports this via official channels. Chabot is being hired from Sampdoria, but Spezia has negotiated an option to buy with the deal. The defender played in his youth for Eintracht Frankfurt and RB Leipzig before making the switch to the Netherlands. After periods at Sparta and Groningen, he left for Sampdoria. For Groningen he made 28 performances.
Chabot has now been tested for the corona virus. The result was negative, which means that he can join the selection of the Series A PhD candidate on Thursday. Here he comes Jeroen Zoet against, who made the switch from PSV to Spezia this summer.
