Specifications of Suzuki S-Presso, New City Car Sold from IDR 155 Million


Suzuki S-Presso enliven the entry-level city car segment in the Indonesian market. The car, which is still imported intact from India, is sold from Rp. 155 million for the manual type. What kind of specifications are offered for the Indonesian market?

S-Presso is Suzuki’s answer to complete the line-up of cars that are suitable for use in urban areas. Sporty design in the style of a compact SUV with a ground clearance of 180 mm, compact dimensions and economical fuel consumption.

The size of the Suzuki S-Presso has a length of 3,565 mm, a width of 1,520 mm, a height of 1,565 mm, and a wheelbase of 2,380 mm. It is more compact than the Suzuki Ignis, which measures 3,700 mm in length, 1,690 mm in width, and 1,595 mm in height.



In terms of the exterior, the S-Presso has the appearance of an urban SUV with a sporty direction. Starting from the use of headlamps with turning signals, chrome front grille, lower radiator covers, front skid plates, and the use of 14 inch dual tone wheels.

Entering the interior, the Suzuki S-Presso is also not inferior to its competitors. The black color dominates the entire interior of the S-Presso.

The S-Presso also has a 6.8-inch entertainment feature screen. This car also has storage pockets in the front, rear, doors, glove box and cup holders.

The back of the S-Presso is also no less sporty thanks to the New Rear Bumper Design and Rear Combination lamps. The S-Presso has also carried the New Generation Platform (Heartect), this platform is explained to be lighter so that it can make the S-Presso more rigid.

Behind the bonnet, the S-Presso is equipped with a 1-liter three-cylinder K-Series K10B DOHC petrol engine. The new S-Presso can produce a peak power of 50 kW at 5,500 rpm and 90 Nm of torque at 3,500 rpm. The engine is mated to an AGS automatic transmission and a 5-speed manual.

In terms of safety features, the S-Presso is equipped with SRS Front Dual Airbags, Rear Parking Sensor, Immobilizer, ABS (Anti-lock Braking System), Seatbelts, Childproof Rear Door Locks, 3 Point Assist Grip, and a Light Fire Extinguisher.

The S-Presso was sold for Rp. 155 million for the M/T type, while the S-Presso AGS was sold for Rp. 164 million. The price is OTR Jabodetabek. While the S-Presso color options consist of Sizzle Orange, Solid Fire Red, Pearl Starry Blue, White, Granite Gray Met, and Silky Silver Met.
