Special fund for the management of Covid-19: 33.7 billion dirhams in revenue generated at the end of July

The overall amount collected by the Special Fund for the Management of the New Coronavirus Pandemic (Covid-19) reached 33.7 billion dirhams at the end of July 2020.

A figure noted by the General Treasury of the Kingdom in its monthly bulletin of public finances. “At the end of July 2020, the trust account entitled Special Fund for the management of the Covid-19 coronavirus pandemic recorded revenue for 33.7 billion dirhams and expenses for 24.7 billion dirhams”, we can read at this effect.

Recall that this Special Fund was created following the High Instructions of His Majesty King Mohammed VI to cover the expenses of upgrading the medical device, support the national economy to cope with the shocks induced by this pandemic, preserve the jobs and mitigate the social impact of the pandemic.
