News

Capcom is pleased to announce that the Devil May 3: Special Edition is now available as a digital download for the Nintendo Switch. The Nintendo Switch version introduces the brand new free style mode, which allows you to switch between fighting styles and weapons in no time at all. This new gameplay feature enables smoother combat options and exciting new combinations to achieve bigger style in SSS rank. Of the total of six fighting styles in the game, four are available at the start, and two more are unlocked during the course of the game. In addition to the standard weapon change, all unlocked weapons can be selected via the radial menu. You can now also contest each level of the Bloody Palace in the local co-op once a save has been created.

The Devil May Cry 3: Special Edition now brings the complete package to Nintendo Switch, including Vergil as a playable character and the 9,999 floors of the Bloody Palace survival mode. With Nintendo Switch, Devil May Cry 3 is also playable on the go for the first time.

Devil May Cry 3 is a prequel to the iconic action series and features a younger Dante years before the events of Devil May Cry. The plot reveals Dante’s experiences to the ultimate showdown against his twin brother Virgil, who wants to open a gate to the demon realm. Dante must use his Rebellion sword and Ebony and Ivory pistols to stop Virgil and prevent the world from being overrun by demons. Along the way you will learn about many aspects of the series, such as the first encounter with Lady, the origins of Dante’s Shop and even the name of the series itself.

The Devil May Cry 3 Special Edition Released digitally on February 20, 2020 for € 19.99 for the Nintendo Switch.
