SpaceX Falcon 9 Rocket Launch 4 Astronauts into Space

KARAWANGPOSTSpaceX rocket Falcon 9 carrying the crew of Inspiration4 has launched from Pad 39A Kennedy NASA Space Center in Florida on Thursday, September 17, 2021 at 01:02 CEST.

Takes three days to orbit in SpaceX rocket‘s Crew Dragon, before landing in the Atlantic Ocean this weekend.

SpaceX’s launch comes after Virgin Galactic and Blue Origin launched their first commercial flights in July.

Four crew astronaut SpaceX’s “Inspiration4” launch includes a billionaire who made his fortune by founding a payment processing company in his teens and a health care worker who beat bone cancer as a child.

The mission was conceived as a fundraising opportunity for a children’s cancer hospital in Tennessee, and claims to have raised nearly €100 million in donations.

The mission will take the Crew Dragon Rocket to orbit the earth at an altitude of 160 kilometers higher than the International Space Station.
