The Central Communication Port is a planned transfer node between Warsaw and Łódź, which is to integrate air, rail and road transport. As part of this project, the Solidarność Airport will be built on an area of approximately 3,000 hectares, which in the first stage will be able to serve up to 45 million passengers per year.
Incheon airport was opened in 2001. The decision to build it was made after the 1988 Olympics in Seoul due to insufficient capacity at Gimpo airport. The airport is located on Yeongjong-Yongyu Island, 52 km from downtown Seoul. In 2019, Incheon handled over 71 million passengers.
