Jakarta, CNN Indonesia –
The daily spike in coronavirus infections has sparked a third wave of fears with a larger number of cases than before. In recent weeks new coronavirus infections have increased by between 100 and 300 cases.
The new case record this time brings the total number of cases recorded in South Korea to 32,318 with 515 deaths.
The South Korean Infectious Disease Control and Prevention Agency said most of the new cases came mostly from office clusters, schools, gyms and small gatherings in the capital Seoul.
In addition, a number of new cases have also emerged in military establishments, including dozens of soldiers recently enlisted in training camps. The defense ministry is stepping up efforts to reduce transmission rates.
Quoting AFPThe new record for corona infections has prompted the government to tighten guarding measures in Seoul and surrounding areas starting this week.
In addition, the government has taken a number of steps including closing nightclubs and bars to limiting guests to weddings and funerals to a maximum of 100 people.
The cafe is only allowed to sell food to take home (takeaway) and all restaurants must close at 9pm and are still allowed to accept food delivery orders.

The South Korean government at that time strictly asked citizens to obey rules of guarding distance and wear masks when outdoors.
