A source inside Zamalek club confirmed that the white team will not play any games until the professional players return to the club from their country abroad.
A Zamalek club source said in exclusive statements to “Yalla Koura”: “We will not play any games before the return of the professionals, and this matter is settled.”
He concluded: “Before fixing the date of any matches, we will have finished the issue of our players’ return.”
Ashraf Sobhi, Minister of Youth and Sports, had confirmed, in accordance with the decisions of the Council of Ministers, the return of sports activity in Egypt in mid-June. (See details)
The Confederation of African Football (CAF) had set proposed dates for the CAF Champions League semi-finals, to go to the semi-finals on 4, 5 and 6 September, with the return leg on 11, 12 and 13 September, and on September 25 for the final of the tournament. (See details)
It is worth noting that Zamalek will meet with his Moroccan counterpart Raja Casablanca in the semi-finals of the African Championship.
