Soundos El ahmadi Announces Touring Hiatus: ‘I Want to Be With My Family More Often’

Amsterdam, netherlands – Dutch comedian Soundos El Ahmadi has announced she will be taking a break from touring for 1.5 years, starting in May 2026. The decision, shared via an Instagram post, stems from a desire to prioritize family life after 15 years of consistent performance.
“Dear friends, I decided to stop touring for 1.5 years,” El Ahmadi wrote. “I have been touring for 15 years now and want to be with my family more frequently enough.”
The comedian indicated she intends to fully enjoy performing her current show, White Noise, through April 2026, and perhaps beyond. This makes her current run effectively a ’farewell tour’ for the foreseeable future.
El Ahmadi has been a prominent figure in Dutch theater since 2010, debuting with Soundos, pleasant!.She followed this success with There is no plan B (2013), Born with experience (2015), Nothing to lose (2018), and Comeback Kid (2021). White Noise,which premiered in 2024,is currently running until April 2026.
Alongside her theatrical commitments, El Ahmadi is also joining the jury of the popular television show Holland’s Got talent this season. presenters Jamai Loman and Buddy Vedder have expressed their enthusiasm for her addition to the panel.
