The Health Department of Sorocaba (SES) recorded an increase in the number of recovered from Covid-19 this Saturday (25), reaching a total of 82,192. There were 80 new records. In turn, confirmed cases with the disease, with more than 81 notifications, increased from 85,037 to 85,118 in the city.
The city showed an increase in the number of people suspected of being infected by the coronavirus and awaiting results: from 203 to 252. Among the suspects, 10 were admitted to hospitals in the city, seven in the ICU. The number of those discarded for negative disease results increased to 162,372.
Of the total number of confirmed patients, 16 were hospitalized (12 in ICU) and the total number of people in recovery (home isolation) was 87 yesterday.
Confirmed deaths remained at 2,823. The mortality rate in the municipality is 3.3%, below the state rate, which is 3.4%, and above the national rate, which is 2.8%. Until this Saturday (25), the city had no deaths under investigation. (From the Newsroom)
