Sony unveils the PlayStation Plus games for February

Sony has announced the games that will be available for free to PlayStation Plus members in February.

These are Destruction Allstars, Concrete Genie and Control: Ultimate Edition. The games are free from Tuesday, February 2 available through the Sony service.

Destruction AllStars is playable on PS5 and was first shown at the PlayStation 5 reveal last year. Like the classic Destruction Derby and Twisted Metal franchises, the game is all about banging against cars. A unique aspect of the game is that when the player’s car is total-loss, one can get out of the car and continue fighting on foot.

Concrete Genie was released for PS4 in October 2019. In the adventure game, players paint wall drawings and graffiti, which then comes to life on the wall. Players use the motion sensitive technique in the DualShock 4 controllers to paint. PS Plus members can play the PS4 version on both PS4 and PS5.

The third game is the Ultimate Edition of Control. This edition of the Remedy game includes both the main game and all released free updates, both expansions, The Foundation and AWE. Control Ulimate Edition is playable on both PS4 and PS5. The game uses the extra computing power on the new console from Sony.

Until February 1, the games Maneater, Shadow of the Tomb Raider and Greedfall can still be claimed.
