Sony Corporation of Japan introduced a greatly improved version of the Wena 3 smart watch strap.
This smart strap is similar to a smart bracelet, but it replaces your watch strap, so it can work with any watch, you can wear it with a classic mechanical watch and enjoy the smart functions of the bracelet.

The strap provides smart functions to your wrist and turns any watch into a smartwatch, similar to the principle of hybrid smartwatches.
The smart belt screen is now much larger and can display notifications from your phone (which you can swipe through by swiping left and right).
The screen also contains calendar, weather forecast, alerts, and timers (which the watch might be missing).
Sony has equipped the strap with an algorithm that supports daily management of arm health, and you can manage your daily activities using the app via the accelerometer and dual optical heart rate sensor.
And now you can also use the Alexa smart assistant, there is a microphone for voice commands and a speaker so that the Amazon Assistant can answer your inquiry.
The Wena 3 Belt comes with Integrated Function (NFC), which supports many mobile payment systems.
Another feature of the smart belt is the heart rate sensor, which can detect blood oxygen saturation and calculate (VO2 Max).
The smart belt also calculates stress and recovery, and also has a regular pedometer and sleep monitor.
Sony made the tape in stainless steel (SUS316L) and the version was ionized (Premium Black) (physical process of vapor deposition).
This makes the outer surface wear and tear resistant and avoids nickel allergy problems.
There is a metallic silver version, as well as leather and rubber options, and you can also use this strap as a smart bracelet, but it works better when paired with a watch.
The smart belt is waterproof to a depth of 50 meters (5 ATM) which makes it suitable for swimming, and the battery life is about a week and it is charged through a special connector.
The new Sony Band (Wena 3) will be launched in Japan on November 27, with prices starting at $ 230 for the rubber option (WNW-A21A), $ 305 for the leather option (WNW-C21A) and $ 335 for the metallic option (WNW-B21A).
