Sony: PlayStation 5 does not support 1440p resolution – Gaming – News

PS5 / XBOX Series X comes out for € 500.00
You get a super powerful machine with just a controller next to it.

PC for € 500.00 is not very powerful. In addition, you do not get a mouse keyboard.
And if you want to game, you don’t go for a 10 euro mouse / keyboard.

So difference if you start new and have to choose:
PC € 500,00
Keyboard / mouse € 50.00
Monitor € 50,00

PS5 / XSX € 500,00
TV is already in every house. (is an assumption of course)

So the difference is € 100.00 in purchase and already at the disadvantage of a PC in my example, but you have much better performance on the PS5 / XSX.

Games from the XBOX / PS5 can be bought new and sold second hand. Is a smaller loss than buying completely and not being able to sell. In addition, you can also buy games second hand which in turn results in a smaller loss or that you even end up right. (I often only play games once and think it’s fine)
Games that you buy for PC now only work via a key / steam / ubisoft etc. and are therefore always a loss.

The only thing that can bring extra costs with a PS5 / XSX are the subscriptions that you can take out for it and even need to play online with the PS5, thought this was no longer necessary with the XBOX series.

Modifications: Things made clearer.
