NEW YORK – Police arrested the star’s son of “The Walking Dead“Norman Reedus, for allegedly punching a woman in the face in Little Italy, Manhattan.
Mingus Reedus, 21, was arrested and charged with assault for punching a 24-year-old woman around 10:00 pm in the middle of the San Gennaro festival in Lower Manhattan.

Police noted that the victim had a laceration under one of the eyes and was taken to a hospital by paramedics.
The 21-year-old called the alleged assault an accident in comments he made to the The Daily News. He claimed that the woman and her group met Reedus and his friends at the festival.
“We didn’t think anything about it, but these five girls followed us for two blocks, throwing food at us and screaming,” she told the outlet. “We told them to leave us alone, but they kept following us, threatening to hurt my girlfriend and her friend.”
According to Reedus, he accidentally hit the 24-year-old woman while throwing her arm to create distance between the two groups after initial contact was made.
