LOS ANGELES – Son Heung-min continued his extraordinary form with LAFC,starting as a central striker in a 4-3-3 formation during their match on August 24th. This game marked his third consecutive start as joining the Major League Soccer (MLS) club.
LAFC manager Steve cherundolo deployed the 4-3-3 setup aiming for a third straight victory.Son Heung-min led the attack flanked by Nathan Ordaz on the right. This followed his previous appearances against the New England Revolution and Chicago Fire.
Son Heung-min debuted for LAFC on August 10th during an away game against the Chicago Fire, scoring a penalty kick in the 31st minute to secure a 2-2 draw. He then earned a starting position in the August 17th match against New England, assisting Matias Show Iniere for a 2-0 win.
His performance in the New England game earned him recognition as the Player of the Match (POTM) and a spot on the league’s Best XI for that round. he aimed to continue his scoring streak in the Dallas match, completing a three-game road trip.
Following the three consecutive away games,Son Heung-min is scheduled to make his home debut at BMO Stadium in Los Angeles on August 31st against San Diego.
Son Heung-min joined LAFC after 10 years with Tottenham Hotspur in the English Premier League (EPL), beginning his tenure with the London club in 2015.
