Son Heung-min was ranked 23rd among the ‘100 Best Soccer Players of 2020’ announced by Marca, Spain on the 31st of last month (local time). Son Heung-min, who was ranked 81st in 2017 and 91st in 2018 in the annual rankings released by Marka, jumped to 18th in 2019, and continued to rank at the top in 2020. It is the only Asian player to be included in the list.
Marka said of Son Heung-min, “Isn’t he one of the most underrated strikers in the world? Although Son Heung-min dominates various records, it is rarely mentioned when discussing a good striker.” He added, “He has a superhuman breath with Harry Kane, raising the expectations of Tottenham fans this season to the fullest.”
