Russia must be spoken to with great respect and excellent armaments. These are the two keys to talks with Russia. If you are not well armed, they will not respect you and if you do not respect them, then things become even more complicated, said Solomon Passy.
Bulgaria should not see itself as a small country in this situation, the diplomat said.
We are not a small country at all. We are part of the EU, which is half a billion people, and we are part of NATO, which is more than the EU, said the chairman of the Atlantic Club.
According to him, the Bulgarian reaction to the statement of the Russian Foreign Ministry could have been faster.
At the moment, President Putin’s appetite has increased in the same way as Hitler’s appetite before World War II, Passy said.
