Solar flares cause GPS interference to radio blackouts in some countries

KOMPAS.com – Recently the Earth was hit by a flare Sun long duration, which causes disturbance GPS until radio signal.

A few minutes after sun explosion which occurred on Monday, June 13, 2022 that morning, the Sun’s temperature increased by millions of degrees.

Then produce a burst of radiation that crosses the electromagnetic spectrum, from radio waves, X-rays and gamma rays.

Sun Flare is a large explosion that occurs when there is a sudden release of energy from within a magnetic field, which is generally above Sun spots.

Previously, space weather expert Dr Tamitha Skov had announced that some regions of the world could experience radio and GPS blackouts for an hour, after Sun flare hit Earth.

M3.4-flare now! R1-level #RadioBlackout from active region 3030. Solar Storm is also released. Amateur radio & GPS users will experience signal interference during Earth day especially Asia Pacific, Australia, New Zealand, India & Eastern Russia for the next hour!,” Skov wrote on his Twitter account.
