The festive fireworks in Sofia were canceled, but the capital welcomed the new 2022 with a barrage of explosions and fireworks, as every time on December 31 against January 1.

Again, many chose to celebrate the New Year in the open air at Kopitoto above Sofia. The road was congested. Organized buses also arrived.
