Design Details: Where Automotive Meets Apparel
The design team meticulously integrated Škoda’s design language into the sneakers. Key features include:
- Horizontal Lines:
The horizontal lines we can see on the shoe are connecting to the horizontal lines that we use in our cars both in the interior and exterior,

- Škoda Logo Integration: The S pattern and hook mirror the new Škoda logo.
- ELROQ Inspiration: Colors and materials are inspired by the Škoda ELROQ, with the S-shaped pattern using the same material found on the car’s interior upholstery.
The Making Of: Prototypes and Possibilities

Milan Design Week: A Sneak Peek at the “Hero” Concept
Škoda showcased the “Hero” concept sneakers at Milan Design Week, offering a glimpse into future design directions. These leisure shoes, of which only three pairs were created for the premiere, stay true to the Botas wedge profile while incorporating modern materials and Škoda-specific elements.
The “Hero” concept features colour-highlighted elastic laces and details reminiscent of outdoor accessories, echoing the Škoda Elroq lodge. Recycled materials, previously used in Škoda models’ upholstery, were incorporated into the production.
Sustainability and Innovation in Materials
The “Hero” concept prioritizes sustainability through innovative material choices.
The massive three -piece outsole of 3D printed material reflects the values of Modern Solid, the upper part of the shoe consists of a material knitted material, so there is no waste in production.
