Frankfurt / Main (dpa / lhe) – Eintracht Frankfurt’s young professional Marijan Cavar changes to the second division club SpVgg Greuther Fürth. Both clubs have reached an agreement on a winter transfer, as the Hessian Bundesliga club announced on Thursday. The 22-year-old midfielder had a contract until mid-2021. Cavar came to Eintracht in January 2018.

In the 2018/19 season, the 18-time U21 international of Bosnia and Herzegovina was on loan from NK Osijek. For the Croatian first division club, he completed 15 competitive games. Back in Frankfurt, Cavar was thrown back from an injury at the end of 2019 and therefore missed the winter training camp in Florida.
