Hanover (dpa/lni) – VfL Wolfsburg, Werder Bremen, Hanover 96 and Eintracht Braunschweig ended the 2020/21 season, which was shaped by the corona, with high losses. According to the financial figures published by the German Football League (DFL) on Friday, Wolfsburg ended the season after taxes with a minus of 17.817 million euros. Werder Bremen made a loss of 7.081 million euros in their relegation season.
In the 2nd Bundesliga, Hannover 96 lost a total of 8.450 million euros. Eintracht Braunschweig lost 841,000 euros in the relegation season.
