The heads of state of ECOWAS are meeting this Thursday by videoconference to examine the situation in Mali. The sub-regional organization has already condemned the overthrow of President Ibrahim Boubacar Keïta. It demanded the release of those arrested and announced immediate measures, including the closure of borders and the end of all economic, commercial and financial flows and transactions with Mali.
