On Sunday evening, the Saudi photographer, Mohamed Al-Hudhali, documented the snow moon scene, adorning the sky of Saudi Arabia.
The moon appears in one of its images shining next to the clock tower in the city of Mecca, while another picture shows the moon as it protrudes from behind the tower itself, in a way that shows its brightness more.

Al-Hudhali was keen to prepare for this astronomical phenomenon. He said in an interview with CNN in Arabic: “I prepared 24 hours before filming time, to choose the appropriate place and time to take pictures.”

The photographer captured these scenes from the top of a mountain, after facing inappropriate weather conditions, and eventually improved, according to him.
And the photographer pointed out that the moon formed a wonderful and bright sight in the sky.
Some experts call this month the “giant moon”, which means that it is one of the largest moons in 2020, and it will look especially large when it rises and falls.
However, experts disagree about the terms of the “giant moon”, according to “EarthSky”.
While NASA and retired astrophysicist and photographer, Fred Espenac, see the event as a “giant moon”, others see that it is not.
Astronomer Richard Nol believes that the first “giant moon” of 2020 will appear on March 9.
