By the evening, snow cover will accumulate in some places
From this night in Western Bulgaria the rains will begin to intensify and gradually cover the central parts of the country. On Tuesday it will be cloudy with showers all over the country. In the morning in the western regions the wind will be oriented from the northwest and cold air will blow with it. Thus, before noon the rains will start to turn into snow, and by the evening snow cover will accumulate in some places.
A strong southeast wind will still blow in the east and rain will remain until the end of the day. In some places it is possible to thunder. This is the reason why a yellow code for dangerous weather is in force in all districts of Western and Central Bulgaria. In the districts of Blagoevgrad, Smolyan and Kardzhali the code is of the second degree due to heavy rainfall with quantities up to 50 liters per square meter.

Due to the cold and the minimum and maximum temperatures will be similar. In the west they will be only 2-3 degrees, and by the sea they will reach 13 -14.
It will get cold quickly in the mountains and by evening the precipitation will turn to snow everywhere. It is expected that snow cover will accumulate, and in the higher parts it will reach 20-30 centimeters.
In the morning the temperatures in the resorts will still be positive, but in the afternoon the wind will drop quickly.
