Sneijder suspends negotiations with FC Den Bosch after leaking plans | NOW

Wesley Sneijder and his business partner Ebert Dollevoet have temporarily suspended negotiations with FC Den Bosch. The two are outraged that some of the plans to take over the club from the Kitchen Champion Division have been leaked.

It Brabants Dagblad reported on Tuesday that Sneijder and Dollevoet want to take over the Brabant club completely debt-free for a symbolic amount of 1 euro. In addition, the impending lawsuit of Kakhi Jordania, who wants his money back after a failed takeover, should be disregarded.

“Outrageous”, Sneijder and Dollevoet say Broadcasting Brabant about the leakage of their plans, which they presented to the Supervisory Board of FC Den Bosch on Friday. “Because we want to help the club. We regret this very much and have therefore decided to put FC Den Bosch in the waiting room for the time being.”

“We do that to see how things should proceed now, because it is incomprehensible how someone here deals with the interests of his club. Let them first solve things internally. We want to help the club and the supporters and nothing else. And our plan is also much more extensive. “

Wesley Sneijder and Ebert Dollevoet were in the stands during NAC-FC Den Bosch last month.

‘American competition for Sneijder’

Sneijder announced two weeks ago that he had serious plans with FC Den Bosch and that his hands were “itching to get started.” The record international would take care of the technical policy and Dollevoet the commercial part.

The former top football player and the businessman would not be the only candidates to take over FC Den Bosch. According to the Brabants Dagblad, there are more interested parties, with an American investor as the main candidate.

It is said to be the Pacific Media Group, which currently already owns four clubs in Europe (Ostend, Barnsley, Nancy and Thun). The company would like to pay 1.5 million euros for the current number nineteen of the Kitchen Champion Division.
