Snapchat launches the web version for Plus subscribers with amazing features

The Snapchat app for subscribers to paid services has announced a version for the web on smartphones, computers and laptops.

The application Snapchat for subscribers to paid services announced a version for the web on smartphones, computers and laptops.

According to the app’s official website, Snapchat Plus subscribers will later receive features that support augmented reality lenses and the ability to send snaps photos and videos, along with a host of privacy features.

A Snapchat spokesperson noted that video calls have become more popular with Snapchat users in recent years, and the desktop experience may be better suited for longer video calls.

Among the features that Snapchat Plus users will have in the coming period is the prevention of screenshot attempts that Snapchat can detect, such as those taken using hotkeys, and Snapchat has also added a “privacy screen” that blocks the content of users’ chat if they click away in a separate window.

Snapchat Plus subscribers will first have access to the new web app, but it will eventually be available to all users – not available in the main Snapchat app.

According to Snapchat, Snapchat Plus is initially available in at least 9 countries, including the United Kingdom, United States, Canada, France, Germany, Australia, New Zealand, Saudi Arabia and the United States, United Arab Emirates, and the company has promised that the service will soon expand to other countries.
