We want our Snapchatters to be fun and safe, and these goals form our advertising policies. Advertisers must be honest about the products, services, or content that their ads promote, they must avoid misleading, deceptive, or offensive content, and they must in no way compromise the privacy of our users. These advertising guidelines apply to all ads served by Snap. Paid advertising for products or services on the Snap platform that is not carried out by ads placed by Snap must also comply with these advertising guidelines.

Advertisers must adhere to the Snap Service Terms and Community Guidelines, as well as any other Snap guidelines that govern the use of our Services. Occasionally we may change the terms and conditions, so please read them regularly.

Advertisers are responsible for ensuring that their ads are suitable for Snapchatters 13 years of age or older (or their selected audience) in each geographic area in which the ads appear. You are also responsible for ensuring that your advertisements comply with all applicable laws, statutes, ordinances, rules, public order rules, industry rules and regulations in each geographic area in which the advertisements appear. Ads for certain products or services cannot target gender, age, or location.

Our users can share ads with others or save ads on their devices. You may use all tools and functions that we make available on Snapchat to apply captions, drawings, filters or other creative elements to the ad, or all available tools and functions of the site may be used when placing ads in the Audience Network on which the ad is shown. Age-targeted ads can be shared with Snapchatters of all ages within Snapchat. To find out if you can restrict the sharing and saving of your ads within Snapchat, please contact your account officer or visit ours Business Help Center.

We may post ad-related information (including creative and targeted data, such as paying organization data, advertising cost, and contact details) or share this data with third parties, including (a) our media partners, if your ads run in content that is related to the relevant Media partners are connected; and (b) third parties whose products or services you have selected to use in connection with the Ads.

As we mentioned in our Terms of Service, if you use a service, feature, or function from a third party provider that is provided through our services (including the services we offer together with the third party provider), the contractual relationship between you and the relevant party’s respective terms and conditions. Snap and its affiliates are not responsible for any third party’s terms or actions.

All advertisements are subject to our review and approval. We reserve the right, in our sole discretion, to decline or remove ads for any reason, including in response to user feedback. We also reserve the right to request factual evidence of changes to advertisements for any claims or documents made in an advertisement that demonstrate possession of any license or authorization that may be required in connection with your advertisement.

Snap may suspend or terminate company or individual accounts if they violate our advertising policies.
