Smartphones Will Have Sensors to Detect COVID-19

According to the research team, they claim their sensor has the same detection capabilities as the larger analytical instruments found in the laboratory. They also claim that their sensors are sensitive enough to isolate virus particles without interference from other elements.
However, these technologies are far from being applied because they will take the next few years to perfect and improve the technology and even so, there is no guarantee that smartphone makers will adopt them.
However, this shows the possibility of sophisticated technology in which future cellphones may be able to provide a warning of the presence of hazardous biological substances in the air. [**]
