The Stonic receives a new version of the UVO Connect multimedia system, which integrates connected services (traffic conditions, fuel prices, parking spaces, etc.). Guidance uses real-time traffic data to better predict the fastest routes. In addition, the driver can install an application on his smartphone that will allow him to be guided to his final destination, even after having parked his Stonic.

The most important development is under the hood. The Stonic adopts the new 1.0 T-GDi petrol unit with 48 V light hybridization, with alternator-starter. The latter makes it possible to recover energy in a small battery, energy which will then be used to provide assistance to the heat engine. This unit is available in 100 and 120 hp, with a 6-speed manual transmission. A 7-speed dual-clutch transmission is also on the menu.

This restyled Stonic will be available in the third quarter of 2020, from € 20,290. The driver assistance system has been refined, with emergency braking gaining pedestrian and cyclist detection.
