The two men on board, both in their 60s, were unharmed, but due to the risk of electric shock, careful preparations had to be made before the two could be taken off the plane.
The incident resulted in major power outages in the area.
The plane crashed into a tree in Gaithersburg, Maryland on Sunday evening and was stuck 30 meters above the ground. On Monday morning Norwegian time, the two were safely rescued from the plane.
