Stewart Butterfield could be happy. As managing director of the company Slack, which operates the chat software of the same name, he is one of the major beneficiaries of the crisis. The number of users of the platform has never risen as sharply as in recent weeks. 110,000 corporate customers, including 9,000 in the past two months, are already paying for a license so that employees can exchange ideas. And yet Butterfield has a bad feeling about the Corona crisis. “In the worst case, thousands of our customers go bankrupt.”
