Skyscrapers in China Suddenly Shake, Everyone Panic Runs

SHENZHEN, KOMPAS.com – One of skyscrapers China’s highest peak on Tuesday (18/5/2021) suddenly shook, and all residents were evacuated.

The building in the city of Shenzhen was named SEG Plaza it was almost 300 meters high, and shook even though it wasn’t an earthquake.

“After checking and analyzing data from various earthquake monitoring stations across the city, there were no earthquakes in Shenzhen today,” the emergency management officer said. AFP.

“The cause of the shock is being verified by various departments,” he continued.

Netizen videos posted by local media on Weibo show this skyscraper shaking on its foundations.

Hundreds of panicked and frightened pedestrians immediately fled.

The SEG Plaza started shaking around 1pm local time, and everyone inside was immediately evacuated.

The building closed at 14:40 according to local media reports.

SEG Plaza is a building filled with offices and places for buying and selling electronics.
