Karoq: the Skoda for everyone. Its strengths

Kamiq, however, is not the only car on Skoda aims for the new year, there is also the Karoq. This car has many strengths, with different engines, at a price that is certainly competitive. A solid and reliable car, in full Skoda style. A car designed and built not only for city traffic and ‘everyday roads’. But also for more inaccessible routes and long journeys.

The design is also a Skoda trademark, crisp and clean. But it is certainly not the aesthetic side that is successful, even if the new model includes LED headlights. The interiors are also simple, with an 8” central touchscreen. The new Karoq restyling also includes a multifunction steering wheel, the two-spoke one. The same as the Enyaq iV. Front seats adjustable in height, while lumbar adjustment is manual. Spacious car designed for 5 people, with seats for three adults in the back. Boot with 521-litre capacity and LED lighting, which can be used as a torch.

As mentioned, there are several engines available. However, it must immediately be said that for Karoq there are no ‘green choices’. No electric motors, no hybrids. The best choice for those who are not yet ready to abandon diesel or petrol. There is the 1.0 TSI three-cylinder, the four-cylinder 1.5 TSI (110 kW) and the 2.0 TSI. Not only because there is also the diesel choice: the 2.0 TDI turbodiesel available in two versions. There are also models with all-wheel drive for higher performance. In any case, consumption is low.

Prices and colors of the Karoq restyling

The new Skoda Karoq offers as standard: cruise control, Front Assistant and Lane Assistant. Colors chapter: from bright silver, to graphite gray and velvet red, or petrol blue. From lunar white to black magic, energy blue, meteor gray and phoenix orange. Prices, as mentioned, Skoda remains an economic choice, the basic model of the Karoq starts at 28,200 euros.
