Two skiers collided in the Corviglia ski area in St. Moritz on Thursday. One man died, the second was slightly injured.
The collision between the two skiers occurred at 1:10 p.m. at a slope crossing west of the Corviglia mountain station at an altitude of 2500 meters, as the Graubünden cantonal police announced.

The 57-year-old holiday guest from Germany was thrown over the edge of the slope during the collision. Despite resuscitation, the man died on site.
The 52-year-old injured Swiss man was brought to the hospital in Samedan with Rega. Rega, the SOS Corviglia Marguns slope rescue service and the Graubünden cantonal police were involved in the serious skiing accident. The cantonal police are looking for witnesses who saw the accident
