Suske & Wiskecreator Willy Vandersteen had already made eight episodes, but after a disagreement with artistic director Hergé, he stopped. Only four sketches remained of that last episode of the so-called ‘blue series’. Draftsman Dirk Stallaert has finished the strip further on the occasion of the 75th anniversary of Suske & Wiske this year. The French screenwriter François Corteggiani conceived the storyline.
