Sixers stop fining Simmons, absent for “personal reasons”

The Philadelphia 76ers no longer fine Ben Simmons for missing training sessions and team games. So far the franchise I had acted harshly with his player, who refused to return to the Philly dynamic and had castled into his position of demand a transfer.

The Sixers have decided swap the stick for the carrot and from now on they assume that Simmons is out for “personal reasons”, one of the explanations that teams and players often offer in the league to avoid giving further explanations.

Ramona Shelburne of ESPN and Marc Stein of the NY Times explained last night that Simmons has informed the Sixers that he is “not mentally ready to play yet.” and that the franchise has offered you all the resources you need to get it back.

Simmons had participated in some workouts with Philadelphia in which his attitude had angered the team a lot. He did not participate in the group shouts, he did not follow the orders of the coach and even He was expelled by Doc Rivers in a moment.

Now the Sixers trust approach postures with your player and that his recovery, physical and mental, is as quickly as possible to recover Simmons for the NBA season.
