– The voice message says, “To promote Islam and prevent non-Islamic practices,” and “Western education is an education that Ali and his divine prophet do not allow.”

Boko Haram also kidnapped 276 female students in northeast Nigeria in 2014.

They appeared at the government science secondary school, a boarding school for boys in the state of Katshina in northwest Nigeria, armed with AK-47 rifles and dragged about 320 boys. Of the more than 800 students in total, the other one crossed the fence and ran into the forest to overcome the crisis.

– One father of the kidnapped children said, “I thought I was a bandit aiming for the ransom, but when I heard the story of Boko Haram, my hopes of seeing my son soon disappeared.”

In 2014, only half were found or released when the girl was kidnapped. The rest are still missing. Some appear to have died.

Boko Haram, which aims to create an Islamic state, has killed 36,000 people and has resulted in 2 million refugees.

Nigeria’s population is about 180 million, and the proportions of Christianity and Muslims are similar at 49% and 48%.
