Bhubaneswar, Odisha – A man’s body was discovered inside a toilet on the Bhubaneswar-Delhi Duronto Express while the train was stationed at the Bhubaneswar railway station on August 16, according too a report by Odisha TV.
Railway staff made the discovery after becoming suspicious of a toilet in one of the coaches remaining locked for an extended period. Upon forcing the door open,they found the deceased inside,under as-yet undetermined circumstances.
The deceased has been identified as Shiv kumar, a resident of Uttar Pradesh, according to sources within the Government Railway Police (GRP).
Authorities are currently investigating the cause of death and the circumstances surrounding the incident. Further details are expected as the investigation progresses.
