Lineapelle opens tomorrow in New York and there will be 12 Spanish companies from the footwear component sector, half of which are from Elche. It is the first major event of the year, which takes place on February 1 and 2, and is considered one of the most exclusive fairs in the sector. The contest is held twice a year, taking place in the Metropolitan Pavilion of Chelsea, heart of the district of contemporary art from New York City.

In this February edition, the companies will present to US designers the novelties of the spring-summer season 2024. According to the organizers, 109 firms will be exhibiting, the vast majority of which are European, with Italian companies being the most numerous with 44%, followed by Brazilians with 14% and Spanish with 11%. There are also exhibitors from other countries, such as Germany, China, France, India, Pakistan, Turkey, the United Kingdom and the USA.
