Six Amsterdam taxi drivers caught driving under the influence of drugs

During a check of taxi drivers in Amsterdam last night, six taxi drivers were caught driving under the influence of drugs. They have been arrested.

A total of fifty drivers were checked. One of them refused to participate in a blood test. His driver card and driver’s license were immediately confiscated.

NH News writes that the police used unrecognizable cars to monitor taxis at a checkpoint. A total of 28 fines were handed out for driving behaviour, technical defects and fraudulent acts. One taxi driver lost his driver’s license because he was speeding.
