The hobby of acting started at Siraj Munir after a funny incident in 1922, when some of his friends invited him to an evening in one of the houses, and when he arrived at the intended house, he was surprised that the evening was a theater erected in the monsters of the house, and the attendees participated in the representation of one of the plays, and Siraj Munir was The only spectator, and this incident left an impact on himself, as he was born inside him the acting hobby, and thus he became a member of the school’s acting team.

He joined the Naguib Al-Rihani squad, and he managed to fill the void after Naguib’s departure by standing next to its members and reuniting them, and Siraj Munir stormed the field of production in 1953 AD, and presented the movie “The Rule of Qaraqosh”, starring Zaki Rustom, directed by his brother Fatin Abdel Wahab, and the film exceeded 40 thousand pounds, but he He did not earn more than 10 thousand pounds, and he had to mortgage his villa as a result of this loss, which caused him a chest angina, according to the book “black and white”.

During an artistic journey with Naguib Al-Rihani in Alexandria to present one of the shows there, the show ends, and he returns to his home, making a phone call to his wife, artist Mimi Shakeeb, informing her of his arrival, then placing the telephone to meet his Lord.

And their story is considered one of the most famous love stories in Egyptian cinema, known as Mimi Shakib in the movie (Ibn al-Shaab) in 1934 and he was associated with and loved her, but his family objected to his marriage to her because she is divorced and has a son from her ex-husband, after several years he joined the Naguib Al-Rihani theater group to meet again with Mimi Shakib, their love is renewed, and Naguib Al-Rihani interferes with the two families to convince them of their marriage, and the marriage took place between them and they lived happily for 10 years until he passed away from life and Mimi Shakeeb was injured in a bad psychological state.
