Single «My Future»
Produced during confinement, “My Future” by Billie Eilish surprises in the singer’s dark universe.

The American at the five Grammy Awards had not released anything new since February 2020 and the rather black soundtrack of the next “James Bond”. It is an understatement to say that his return with the title “My Future”, among the best-selling Romandies, surprises. For once, Billie Eilish, 18, has abandoned her usual melancholy for a bit more playful sounds. She owes this change to Finneas, her brother, who composes all of her songs.

“The first thing that we did, my sister and I, during our confinement, was ‘My Future’. I loved spending those dark days dealing with her. Even though it’s a scary year for a lot of reasons, I chose to be optimistic, ”Finneas wrote on Instagram. He said he felt “motivated for the future” thanks to the support of the fans. This musical change is also reflected in images. The title clip (see below), in cartoons, is much brighter than previous Billie Eilish videos.
