Silent Hill F Puzzle Guide: loosen Staircase, Unlock Key Cabinet
A new puzzle in Silent Hill F requires players to navigate teh middle school, locate keys, and decipher locker combinations to access a crucial key cabinet. The solution involves a multi-step process beginning in the schoolyard and culminating in opening a locked cabinet on the ground floor.
The initial objective is to obtain the staircase key. Players must venture into the yard – a location previously fraught with danger – and proceed west, staying close to the flower beds. The key is located near a watering can on the floor.
Returning to the school, players must open a secret box on the first floor to acquire the master key. this key unlocks a classroom to the right of the box, revealing Asakura ayumi’s textbook. The textbook provides both the key to the changing room and the combination to her locker.
Players then descend to the ground floor and use the combination 865 to open Asakura Ayumi’s locker, retrieving the key to the key cabinet.
A secondary puzzle, tied to the “history” difficulty, involves Sakuko’s hairpin. This hairpin can be found in the rabbit stable located in the east courtyard and is used to open a drawer in the room containing the key cabinet. Players will also need the locker code 534 to access the cabinet. The second changing room is already unlocked on the “history” difficulty,eliminating the need for an additional key.
