Sifer 2023: A Look at Essential Infrastructures for Light Trains on Old Tracks

Presentations on track panels are a great classic of Sifer.

The infrastructure sector is particularly highlighted at a time when it is planned to run light trains on old tracks. The equipment and the systems that accompany it take pride of place. All the players in the sector have a stand at Sifer, starting with the big companies in the sector, SNCF Réseau, TSO, ETF or even Vinci and Vossloh. Alongside these heavyweights, more modest structures are also present. The French company Neotec located in the Tarn-et-Garonne provides engineering and construction of machinery and equipment for the maintenance of railway infrastructure. With its Elan & Sky ranges, Neotec has developed equipment for inspecting structures, carrying out catenary and signaling work, not to mention transmissions and railway modules. Oilquick France took an interest in railway excavators for which it developed an automatic quick coupler system. A facility to easily switch from one tool to another.

Prolutech specializes in transport in all its forms: the 30-year-old company provides construction, maintenance and repair of railways, but also roads, airports and metro systems. It also develops technical lighting equipment such as the Airstar site lighting balloons.
